On this website and the documentation website docs.nextgraph.org, we do not use cookies, we do not collect any personal data and anonymized logs aren’t shared with third-parties.
All the infrastructure for this website and all sub-domain websites of nextgraph.org are self-hosted by us, and no third-party is contacted whatsoever.
Website visitors
- No personal information is collected.
- No information is stored in the browser.
- No information is shared with, sent to or sold to third-parties.
- No information is shared with advertising companies.
- No information is mined and harvested for personal and behavioral trends.
- No information is monetized.
Information we collect
Main website and documentation website’s activity is logged anonymously. We do not keep any personal information about your visit to our websites, not even your IP.
Donations
If you consent to some donations, the transaction happens on an external website. All the payment methods we offer are secure and display best practices in the field. Please refer to the respective Privacy policies and terms of usage you will find on their webpage.
Mailing list
If you subscribed to a mailing list on the page https://list.nextgraph.org/subscription/form you can unsubscribe at any moment by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email you received from us. If you cannot find it, contact us and we will remove you from the mailing list.
Spam
You are strictly prohibited from using this website or any of its services for illegal spam activities (including gathering email addresses and personal information from others or sending any mass commercial emails).
Forum
If you connect to the forum at forum.nextgraph.org and create an account there, you consent to the storage of some cookies needed for the normal functioning of the forum based on open source software https://zulip.com .
This software stores some personal information provided by you, including:
- your name
- your email address
- your username
- your encrypted password (if you have set any)
- preferred language
- your timezone
- the date when you joined the forum
- the type of device and date/time of your last access
- if you used Twitter, Github or Gitlab to login, then the software also stores your identifier at those companies.
In addition, the software keeps a copy of all the messages you published or shared in any stream and topic, your emoji reactions, your private messages (unencrypted. meaning, the admin of the forum can read them), and group messages. It also stores your preferences and configured bots.
At any moment, you can deactivate your account on the forum by entering the settings panel / account and privacy, and then click on the Deactivate account
.
Please note that this action is definitive and that it will not remove your personal data the server. It will only remove your account from the sight of other users.
If you do want to delete or obtain a copy of all your personal data located on the server of the forum, please send us a message and we will proceed.
The server is hosted in Germany and complies with GDPR regulations. Please allow a week for any personal data requests send by email to be processed. Please read the note below about “NextGraph identity account”.
Git
If you connect to the git at git.nextgraph.org and create an account there, you consent to the storage of some cookies needed for the normal functioning of the git VCS based on open source software https://gitea.com .
This software stores some personal information provided by you, including:
- your name
- your email address
- your username
- your encrypted password (if you have set any)
- preferred language
- the date when you joined the git
- the type of device and date/time of your last access
- if you used Twitter, Github or Gitlab to login, then the software also stores your identifier at those companies.
- your SSH/PGP public keys if you have set any.
At any moment, you can delete your account on the git system by entering the settings panel / account , and then in “Delete Your Account” section, enter your password and then click on the Confirm Deletion
. As you probably created your account with NextGraph ID provider, you do not have a password. You will therefor have to create first a password, in the section above, enter your “New Password” and “Re-Type New Password” and then click on Update Password
. You can chose a short password of at least 6 characters. Please note that if you committed some code to any repository on the Git of NextGraph, deleting your account will not remove your commits and the email address you used at the time, will still be displayed in git logs and commits.
If you want to obtain a copy of all your personal data located on the server of the git, please send us a message and we will proceed.

NextGraph identity account
If you have accessed the Forum, the Git repository, or the Wiki, in addition to the account proper for each service as described above, an identity account has been created for you on our identity server running open source software https://www.keycloak.org/
In order to modify, access or delete your identity account’s personal data, please go to https://id.nextgraph.org/auth/realms/nextgraph/account/
Please note that deleting your account at Git or Forum does not automatically delete your identity account, you will have to do that in addition.
In order to delete your identity account, please follow the following steps:
- connect to the personal info console
- click on “Delete account link, in blue”
- click on the red button “Delete”
- you will now be requested to login again. Please use the same login method that you used when you created your account (by email, GitHub, GitLab or Twitter)
- if you need to login in again to one of those companies, please do so.
- you will then be redirected to the final step called “Delete account confirmation”.
- click the blue button “Confirm deletion”
